Every mutant is familiar with the legend of the Nuclear Throne. This legend stating that there is way to restore the world to normal and remove the awful changes the nuclear apocalypse brought upon everyone. The legend also says that there was one lone mutant who traveled across the wasteland and eventually reached the fabled Nuclear Throne. They called that mutant the Proto Mutant. It's said that the Proto Mutant was the first and only living soul to accomplish such a feat. Some claim the story is true, others say it is not because nobody even knows if the Throne exists at all. Regardless, Proto did set out on this adventure, but not alone.

Only silence can be heard across the scrapyard. The crows all fled the after what I had done, leaving me hungry and tired. I ate what I could and my meals usually consisted of rad canisters I found every once and awhile. I’m not complaining. They taste fine but don’t fill me up as much as I would like. It’s been about 15 days since the horrible blast. It swamped the land in a harsh radiation that turned and mutated everything it didn’t destroy. The rain is wet and cold. I can hear the crows squawking but at the same time there’s an unfamiliar sound. A banging sound. I decide not to think about it, I mean I'm just a weed.
